NEW EASTER TOYS ON EBAY!

We are heading out on holidays Saturday morning for some days of warmth and sunshine (hopefully!) I've decided to list two auctions while I'm away, this time for 5 days instead of the usual three days. If the toys manage to find new homes, I will contact the winners when I return, Thursday evening. You can view both of these auctions by clicking on the link for "EbayListings" under "My Links" at the top right of my blog.

I must say, I have really enjoyed making these Easter sets. I love this holiday time of year, even more than Christmas. Everything is in a stage of renewal - the sun is shining, the greenery is starting to peek through and the hope of spring is everywhere. I hope you enjoy these new toys and thanks for stopping by!

1. "SEAMUS & FRIENDS EASTER SET - Seamus is 4 inches tall and is made from hand-dyed brown/gold German Shulte mohair. The mohair has been gently aged and distressed, leaving a few tiny bare patches. Seamus has amber German glass eyes, a gently waxed nose, distressed leather paw pads with tiny holes and has been shaded on the face, ears and paws with permanent heat-set paints. This shading gives Seamus a lovely vintage look. He is stuffed with traditional excelsior and granulate for weight and simply decorated with a vintage silk ribbon around his neck.

Seamus comes with a sweet baby chick. They are the best of friends and Seamus loves to hop on and go for a ride. The chick 1s 3 ¾ inches tall, has glass eyes and is very realistic. I did not make the chick. Seamus also comes with a hand-made chalkware bunny. The chalkware bunny is 4 ¼ inches tall and is made from an antique mold in my collection. The bunny is hand-painted with acrylic paints, sealed with several layers of gloss varnish and is signed. Seamus also comes with his Easter sign (4 ¼ inches tall) made of basswood and decorated with a reproduction Easter
postcard. The sign is decorated with glass glitter. This set is designed and made by me, and will come with a signed hang-tag. It is an adult collectible and not meant for children.
