TRYING TO GET BACK ON TRACK!

I haven't been posting much this summer - it's been a busy one!  Hard to stay indoors when the sun is shining and the birds and bees are buzzing about :o)   We try and spend as much time with our grandson as possible, since he will be 8 years old in December and we realize that soon, it will be more important to him to spend his time with friends than with us.  That's the reality of growing up :o(  Wish we could keep him small for a little longer.

So, we've been attending soccer games and hockey games and taking our grandson to goalie school and fishing and Marineland and basically enjoying our summer.  We have noticed this past week, just how much shorter the days are getting and that fall is definitely on the way.  Next month is our 40th anniversary and we will be spending it in our favourite place, Lancaster, PA.  After we come back, I am hoping to get back into a decent schedule.   I'm posting a few pictures of our summer - our grandson has sure had a lovely one! Hope you enjoy these and thanks for stopping by.

Your grandson is simply adorable, and you are so right. They grow up so fast. We had dinner tonight with four of my granddaughters, ages 18 (2), 17, and 14. We laughed about the unfinished projects I still have in my closet; craft projects when they were little girls. Wasn't that just yesterday? Makes me sad, yes it does. The bears will wait, but the grandchildren will not. Time goes too fast. Enjoy! Vicki

Thank you so much, Vicki! You are absolutely right - Corson was relishing the fact tonight, that he is just a fraction below my chin in height! He will be taller than me in no time at all - we figure we might have about 3 years left before his friends monopolize his time and we intend to take advantage of every minute :o) Time moves too fast, indeed.
