TEA FOR TWO PREVIEW

I can finally show you my preview bear, "Tea for Two".  Catriona is an aged, 6 1/2 inch bear,  made from sage green German Mohair, dressed in a removable vintage silk pinafore.   Clare is a 3 " miniature doll, sculpted from paperclay. hand painted and dipped in wax.  She wears a removable cotton pinafore.  I hope you enjoy seeing her as much as I enjoyed making her.

MY TOBY HAS ARRIVED

Well, my TOBY arrived in the mail, on Friday.  It's really beautiful - it is etched glass and it reflects many different colours and it's small enough not to dwarf Daisy's size.  Daisy has already gone on to her new home, but thanks to Photoshop, I put a picture together for my records.  Isn't technology wonderful :o)

BUNNY FOR A FRIEND

I've just finished a new Lady Mistletoe for a friend - I know she is going to love her new home and she will be travelling with Daisy Thistlewaite, for company.  I can't wait until she meets her new mum - I hope you like her, too! :o)

DAISY IS A "TOBY INDUSTRY CHOICE 2012" WINNER!

What a fabulous day today has turned out to be -  I found out that my Daisy Thistlewaite has won an TOBY Industry Choice 2012 award!  I know how much competition there is from wonderful bear makers all over the world, so this means a lot to me.  She's a special bear and I know where ever she ends up, she will be

TEDDY BEAR'S TEA PARTY SHOW

Well, we are half way through January and spring will soon be here, and the teddy bears will be celebrating the warm weather.  The Teddies Worldwide "Teddy Bear's Tea Party" show will be March 23rd - March 25th.  There will be 100 worldwide teddy artists, making very special bears for this show!  Mark your calendar, so you don't forget and we hope to see you there :o)
