BRAGGING RIGHTS!!

Well, tonight was soccer night, for our grandson and we have all started really looking forward to it! After several days of hot, humid weather, it was a treat to go to the soccer field by Lake Ontario. In fact, we were cold LOL!

What an exciting night - the game was going against our team, but Corson managed to get a goal - the last picture was just before he scored. His team mate passed it to him and he ran like the wind! I don't know who was more excited - Corson or his mom, who was jumping up and down and screaming at the top of her lungs. You need a cheering section, after all. It is so nice to see these little kids, learning to work together as a team. One of Corson's favourite schoolmates, Jessie, is on his team and they look our for each other - it's so cute. She is also turning out to be one super little soccer player. Just look at that determination on her face in the second picture. These are just the best days, aren't they - as grandparents, we get to sit back and just enjoy all the excitement.
